Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini Member of Parliament for Tamale North, Alhassan Suhuyini has responded to the invitation to make himself available to testify against Assin Central lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong at the Privileges Committee of Parliament. The committee in a letter dated 28th July 2021 invited to him to testify in the first sitting next week Thursday. In a response, he said in a tweet that “I’m ready to testify, Mr Chairman! Thank you. See you next week, Thursday.” The Speaker Alban Bagbin referred Mr Agyapong to the Privileges Committee of Parliament for his utterances against a journalist with the Multimedia Group, Erastus Asare Donkor.

Dr Tom will take over from Dr Hanna as resident of the Global Health Tropical Medicine (GHTM) postgraduate training. We welcome Dr Tom and wish Dr Hanna goodbye. The Medical Officers attached to the GHTM course stay for six months which is the final part of the training. Masanga Hospital is one of the locations worldwide that are allowed to train GHTM doctors. Jonas will help Masanga Hospital by improving the electricity supply and solar system as we unfortunately face frequent power cuts and furthermore train our electricians on the ground. Jonas will be here as a long-term expat and we are very happy to have an engineer on board.

Zimbabwe opens borders for vaccinated tourists  from  VICTORIA FALLS,  (CAJ News) – TOURISTS that have received the coronavirus vaccine are now exempt from Zimbabwe’s closure of the border with Zambia. This follows the Zimbabwean government opening the Victoria Falls and Kazungula border posts for such visitors. The government has thus acceded to the request by the Tourism Business Council of Zimbabwe (TBCZ).
